the future of mental healthcare!Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for
State-of-the-art Interventional Psychiatry Practice:We are
currently looking for a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our team for
outpatient private practice work with scheduling flexibility, for a
part-time or full-time position. We have office's in West LA, Long
Beach, and in Orange County.The Psychiatrist will evaluate and
treat adults and adolescents 12+ (may see Children as well if
preferred) on an outpatient basis in person and through our
telemedicine program. Provide continuous and comprehensive services
necessary for optimal mental health, prevention, and treatment of
psychiatric disorders and health maintenance to patients in an
outpatient setting. This includes the assessment, diagnosis, and
medication management of mental health problems and psychiatric
disorders. The Psychiatrist shall work collaboratively with other
medical and mental health providers.Responsibilities:Clinical
Care:
- Provide patient-focused, empathetic, and supportive mental
healthcare.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnose, and develop
intervention plans adhering to ethical medication management
practices.
- Utilize state-of-the-art Interventional Psychiatry techniques,
including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine
Administration (training will be provided).
- Document care provided, maintaining confidentiality and meeting
chart review standards.
- Collaborate with other medical and mental health providers for
comprehensive patient care.Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to
stay current with Psychiatry advancements.
- Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance
patient care and treatment approaches.
- Contribute to research activities or publish papers in
peer-reviewed journals.Leadership and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for
coordinated patient care.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and treatment
planning.Quality Improvement:
- Engage in self-assessment and quality improvement activities to
enhance clinical competencies and patient care.Community
Engagement:
- Advocate for mental health awareness and destigmatization.
- Participate in community events and workshops to promote mental
wellness.Technology and Innovation:
- Highly proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) for
efficient and accurate documentation.
- Utilize video technology for telehealth visits
- Proficient in full range of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
software. Proficient operation of PC or Mac
computing.Professionalism and Ethics:
- Adhere to ethical practice standards and comply with
regulations and laws related to mental healthcare.
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and respect in all
interactions.
- HIPAA Regulation complianceMinimum Qualifications:
- Psychiatry residency completion required.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
degree required.License, Certification, Registration:
- Valid and current CA MD/DO license required without any history
of disciplinary action(s).
- Valid degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid California DEA registration.Pay/Benefits:
- Flexible pay models available with salaries ranging from
$300,000-$325,000 yearly
