multiple locations across the US. Our preferred locations are:

Are you our new Experienced Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
Lead Consultant?If this sounds like you, or you're curious to learn

Impact Assessment department and work with us to close the gap to a
sustainable future.Your new roleYou will bring your knowledge of
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) into play as you coordinate
statutory EIA and non-statutory environmental assessment processes
required to support major development proposals primarily in the
energy sector including wind, solar, mining, hydrogen, CCUS,
transmission and energy storage. To succeed in this role, you will
be able to apply an understanding of environmental consulting
processes in North America as well as an understanding of EIA
process and regulations and will have the opportunity to support
projects at various stages in the project lifecycle from
early-stage feasibility/risk appraisal, through EIA, to consent
condition compliance. A structured in-house training and
development program will provide this knowledge and help personal
career development.Your key responsibilities will be:
- Scoping and coordination of environmental baseline data
collection, interpretation of data and provision of advice
regarding environmental and sustainability constraints and
opportunities for development
- Developing trusted advisor relationships with both Ramboll
colleagues, supply chain partners and our clients
- Advanced report writing skills, ability to provide efficient
peer review and coordination of management of spatial data
including for the preparation of figures
- Support for/ and or leadership of (in collaboration with a
Project Director and other team members) key technical and
commercial aspects of project delivery
- Advisory skills in relation to preparing materials for
stakeholder meetings and public consultations and participation in
public consultationYour new teamYou will be part of our US Impact
Assessment department, which forms part of our Global Impact
Assessment Spearhead. The Spearhead has been established to drive
further growth and specialization in Impact Assessment, building on
our existing successes through a continued focus on national impact
assessment work, alongside targeting large, strategic projects - no
matter where these occur, within our geographic strongholds or
beyond.Our US business employs over 1000+ environmental science
professionals in several locations and covers a breadth of
consulting services structured around impact assessment,
compliance, strategy and transactions, new initiatives and
sustainability, product safety and stewardship, contaminated land,
and Water. Our clients include US and global multinationals,
utilities, local and central government and international

qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for
success.These include:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Sciences,
Environmental Engineering or a related environmental
discipline
- 5+ years of experience on complex projects, experience in the
energy sector would be advantageous but is not essential
- Conducts assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Manages own time independently to complete assigned tasks
- May delegate parts of own work to others
- Provides training/mentoring to less experienced staff
- Clearly communicates work results to supervisor, colleagues and
clients
- Provides a supporting role in client contact (client meetings,
client communications).
- Assists with and may prepare moderate contribution to
proposals
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- An attention to detail and the ability to approach issues in a
clear and logical manner
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Our ideal candidate will also have experience with NEPA
permitting, preparing EIAs and ESIAs, and stakeholder relationships
(including engagements with indigenous communities).What we can
